Joel has lived in Richmond most of his life, is a VCU graduate, and worked in engineering before answering God's call to vocational ministry. He and Nikki have been married for 20 years and have two teenage daughters. Joel is passionate about the church's Spirit-driven and Christ-centered mission to make disciples of all nations. He is a musician and plays guitar in several local bands.

Elisabeth has predominately lived and worked in the Hanover and Henrico area until recently. Her family has made the transition into South Chesterfield where they are excited to lay down roots and build community through New Creation. She and Brennen have been married since 2014 and have one son, Adam. They are looking forward to more children through fostering. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012 with a Bachelors in Mass Communications. She has enjoyed working in the print industry as well as for the non-profit The Arc, which supports and advocates for those with disabilities.

Stella is a senior in high school who has loved playing and composing music since she was little. She hopes to use her talents to study music composition and write film scores one day. She is excited to see the ways the Lord is already opening the door for her through this artist in residency opportunity. In her spare time, she loves studying Victorian fashion history, working at Chick-fil-A, and hanging out with friends.

Steven is a West Virginia native who later moved to the Richmond metro area with his parents, where he would meet his lovely wife, Shannon, of 13 years. They live in North Chesterfield along with their two children, Luke and Avery. Steven loves music, particularly hip hop, and enjoys getting to know people. Javier recently moved to Colonial Heights from Houston, TX where he worked as a bassist and music director at several churches. He is originally from Honduras and is also teaching guitar at a Christian school. Javier is excited to work with New Creation's instrumentalists, putting their gifts to use to increase the worship of God.
